Milo Shaheed Trust
Milo Shaheed Trust a non-governmental, non-profit, non-religious, non-political organization working since 1989 in Quetta, Pakistan. It had in formally started functioning from September 1989, under the name of “Public Welfare Organization for the Control of Drug Abuse”.
Gen. (Retd) Mohammad Musa Khan, Governor of Baluchistan province had formally inaugurated on December 28, 1989. After the Martyrdom of Mohammad Ismail Milo it was renamed as “Milo Shaheed Trust”.
Since then, it has been functioning effectively not only providing rehabilitation services but providing social, community welfare, charity, educational services to all communities living across Baluchistan province without any discrimination.
Milo Shaheed Trust is a pioneer detoxification center in Baluchistan providing services to addicts, IDUs, PUDs. It has been providing therapeutic treatment, detoxification and rehabilitation services to people from all over Pakistan as well as Iran and Afghanistan without any discrimination of cast, religion, tribe, ethnic identity and nationality. Since 1989, MST has provided services to 12900 addicts and IDUs. (Updated June,2016).
